Wrath of the Righteous carica le mod in due modi. Il caricatore di Owlcat legge le cartelle delle mod in Modifications sotto %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous, attiva quelle indicate da OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json accanto e le elenca nel gioco con il comando «Aprire la finestra di modifica». Quasi tutte le mod che cambiano classi, regole o interfaccia si caricano con Unity Mod Manager, installato nella cartella del gioco.
Finché una mod Owlcat è attiva, e in ogni salvataggio giocato con una di esse, il gioco non sblocca obiettivi.
