Wrath of the Righteous carrega mods de dois jeitos. O carregador da própria Owlcat lê pastas de mods em Modifications dentro de %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous, ativa as que o OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json ao lado nomeia e as lista no jogo pelo atalho "Abrir janela de modificações". A maioria dos mods que mudam classes, regras ou a interface carrega pelo Unity Mod Manager, instalado na pasta do jogo.
Enquanto um mod da Owlcat estiver ativo, e em todo jogo salvo que já foi jogado com um, o jogo não desbloqueia conquistas. Um retrato personalizado não precisa de carregador: é uma pasta com Small.png, Medium.png e Fulllength.png dentro de Portraits na mesma pasta, e a Criação de Personagem o oferece junto com os outros retratos.
