Nightmares

A strange thundercloud came from deep within the Worldwound and halted over Drezen. Everyone expected a lightning storm or a rain of eyeballs, but the plight ended up being much more frightening — Drezen was hit by a wave of nightmares. The soldiers cannot sleep; they are pulled out of their slumber by their own screams. The officers are concerned that this will drive the troops insane.
