At 4th level, a griffonheart shifter can use her wild shape ability to become a griffon. This ability lasts for 1 minute (the Master Shapeshifter mythic ability makes this duration permanent). Using griffon shape is a standard action that does not cause attacks of opportunity. The griffonheart shifter can use griffon shape a number of times per day equal to her shifter level + her Wisdom modifier. While in this form, she gains a base speed of 50 feet, two claw attacks (1d6 damage), a bite attack (1d8 damage), and immunity to ground-based effects. While in this form, the griffonheart shifter gains the grabber ability with her claw attacks. She also gains a combat feat, using her shifter level as her effective fighter level for the purpose of meeting the prerequisites. If he has levels in fighter, these levels stack. At 9th level, the griffonheart shifter gains the pounce ability and the improved natural attack ability with her bite attack, and she can select another combat feat. At 14th level, the griffonheart shifter can select a third combat feat and gains the rake ability.
