At 12th level, each time the bladebound kills a creature while using the black blade or the black blade kills a creature by itself, the bladebound gains a number of temporary hit points equal to the bladebound's level + 3 (these temporary hit points last until spent or 1 minute, whichever is shorter). If the bladebound already has temporary hit points gained from the black blade, he restores 1 point of his arcane pool instead of gaining temporary hit points. The creature killed must have a number of Hit Dice equal to or greater than half the magus's character level.
