It transforms all wielder's spell damage into fire damage, increasing caster level by 1 and +3 bonus to Evocation school spells' DC. It also grants its wielder the ability to make up to five spells they cast per day maximized as though using the Maximize Spell feat. Greater rods can be used with spells of 9th level or lower.
