Parasite Infestation

This creature has fallen prey to innumerable parasites crawling inside its body, blood, and even mind. Each round, the creature must succeed at a Fortitude saving throw or take 4d6 hit point damage and 1d4 damage to all ability scores (a successful save reduces the ability damage to 1 but does not reduce the hit point damage). If the creature dies while affected by parasite infestation, a swarm of parasites erupts from its body, seeking to satiate its hunger and attacking all but other swarms created by the living plague spell for 1 minute.
