Until the fall of Sarkoris, many noble families of Iz floated their dead on boats down the river to Pulura's shrine that was located here. The goddess's priests blessed and burned the bodies and scattered the ashes over waterfalls. It is believed that the shrine was destroyed along with Sarkoris during the demon invasion, but some question if this is true.
