Wrath of the Righteous charge les mods de deux façons. Le chargeur d'Owlcat lit les dossiers de mods dans Modifications sous %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous, active ceux que nomme OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json à côté et les affiche en jeu avec le raccourci « Ouvrir la fenêtre modifications ». La plupart des mods qui modifient les classes, les règles ou l'interface passent par Unity Mod Manager, installé dans le dossier du jeu.
Tant qu'un mod Owlcat est actif, et dans toute sauvegarde jouée avec l'un d'eux, le jeu ne débloque aucun succès. Un portrait personnalisé ne demande aucun chargeur : c'est un dossier contenant Small.png, Medium.png et Fulllength.png sous Portraits dans le même dossier, et l'écran Création de personnage le propose avec les autres portraits.
