Wrath of the Righteous lädt Mods auf zwei Wegen. Owlcats eigener Loader liest Mod-Ordner aus Modifications unter %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous, aktiviert die, die OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json daneben nennt, und listet sie im Spiel über die Tastenbelegung „Modifikationenfenster öffnen“. Die meisten Mods, die Klassen, Regeln oder die Oberfläche ändern, laden über den Unity Mod Manager, der in den Spielordner installiert wird.
Solange eine Owlcat-Mod aktiv ist, und in jedem Spielstand, der je mit einer gespielt wurde, schaltet das Spiel keine Errungenschaften frei. Ein eigenes Porträt braucht keinen Loader: Es ist ein Ordner mit Small.png, Medium.png und Fulllength.png unter Portraits im selben Ordner, und die Charaktererstellung bietet es neben den anderen Porträts an.
